We pride ourselves on giving you everything you’ll need to get married here, all in one simple price. There’s nowhere quite like us, and in our opinion, we think everyone should get married here! We don’t host weddings for the churn. We host a few weddings each year, and we’re on hand to make sure each one is as perfect as you want it to be. Imagine your wedding at Manoir Beaulieu Day 1 - Welcome to Manoir Beaulieu. Upon arriving at Manoir Beaulieu you will feel instantly relaxed. We’ll show you and your wedding party around the house and grounds, before welcoming you properly on the terrace with aperitifs. We can spend the evening wandering the ceremony spots and discuss any final queries you might have. Soak up your first night sunset, gaze at the endless stars and settle into the luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding for a truly tranquil first night sleep. Day 2 - A day for you. We don’t want to rush your time at Manoir Beaulieu, so take a day. Doing lots, or doing very little. We can help arrange some pre-wedding activities such as wine tasting or a visit to a local château. Or you can simply switch off, relax on a sun-lounger by the pool, and take things easy ahead of the big day. In the evening enjoy a delicious and locally sourced casual welcome dinner, for your immediate wedding party guests. Day 3 - The big day. Wake up to a delicious breakfast served on the terrace. And after a lazy morning of getting ready, it’s time to make your way to one of our three wedding ceremony locations, either; in the grounds next to the mirabelle tree, within the grand barn or around the pool. Meander through the secret gardens or down the terrace steps, where your friends and family will be patiently waiting. Your personal, symbolic ceremony will be conducted, followed by celebratory aperitifs and canapés, ahead of your very first dinner as a married couple being served. Eat by the pool, within the twinkling courtyard or under the grand beams of the covered barn (read all of our tantalisingly delicious food menus a few pages on). Then - simply dance the night away with the ones you love! Day 4 - The day after. No need to rush, enjoy one last full day at Manoir Beaulieu, before departing the next morning. Spend it relaxing and soaking it all in or why not invite your guests back and let us rustle up a delicious next day BBQ by the pool (more menus to get you hungry a few pages on).

Accommodation nearby for your guests We can sleep 12 within the house, with accomodaton for 44 additional guests within walking distance. We then have a huge choice of accomodation within a 10 minute drive. Here are some of our favourites... La Cle de Bonheur (7 minute walk) A beautiful gite with a private pool, sleeping up to 8 guests Village gites (7 minute walk) Two cosy gites, one sleeping 6 guests, the second 4 guests Le Bouchaud (20 minutes walk) Beautifully presented gite with private pool, sleeping 10 guests Gite Nougerede (22 minute walk) A large gîte with private pool, sleeping 15 guests Le Maine Menot (5 minute drive) A large gîte with private pool, sleeping up to 22 guests Chez Maurit (5 minute drive) A collection of 4 gites, with shared pool, sleeping up to 20 guests La Grange de Lucie (5 minute drive) A beautifully renovated property in a very tranquil location, sleeping up to 14 guests

Getting to know Manoir Beaulieu You’ll soon feel very at home when you arrive at Manoir Beaulieu, with the 18th century manor house effortlessly combining tradition with contemporary elegance. Inside With five individually designed bedrooms featuring hand-made headboards and Egyptian cotton bedlinen, most with king or super king-sized beds, you can soak up the relaxed vintage vibe whilst making the most of the glorious scenery. Then there’s the cosy lounge with its log-burner and adjoining library, the bright dining room and fantastically equipped French kitchen; every corner of this manoir has been restored with love and flair. There are three bathrooms, one downstairs, one upstairs and one en-suite all with showers, and two with baths. Pool & wood fired pizza oven Kick back and relax around the inviting and completely private 12x6m outdoor swimming pool with plentiful sun loungers and deck chairs, sat alongside the new impressive wood fired pizza oven. Nearby amenities The quaint village of Salles-Lavalette is a mere 750km away. You can walk down the country lane to the local boulangerie, a well-regarded French restaurant and the weekly market on a Friday morning. Further amenities including a large supermarket, shops and restaurants are in Villebois-Lavalette, just over a 10-minute drive away – visit on a Saturday morning and sip wine with oysters at its lovely outdoor market. Nearest aiports: Bergerac (76km), Bordeaux (122km), Limoges (137km) Nearest train stations: Gare de Montmoreau/Angouleme TGV (10km/40km) Nearest golf club: Manoir de Longeveau - 9 hole (10km) Nearest city: Angouleme (37km) Nearest beach: Royan (120km)

Managing your wedding budgets We appreciate that it can seem a little daunting when you start the ‘wedding budgeting process’. As part of our promise to you we will always be on hand to help, however you might need us to. In fact, once you’ve booked your wedding with us we’ll send you our top secret Manoir Beaulieu little white book of recommendations: tried and tested suppliers all within the area, that come recommended by us and our by previous brides and grooms. Champagne towers and ice cream vans aren’t for everyone, but they can add a certain ‘je ne sais quai’ to a wedding. For obvious reasons we don’t include these as standard within your wedding cost, but rest assured, we are on hand to help source and liaise them for you here in France. A few example costs for extra things you might want are: Celebrant hire You can’t legally get married at Manoir Beaulieu, like most venues in France but we know some wonderful nearby celebrants who bring something special to your day. Local prices start from €250. Or why not ask your best friend, after all, they probably know you both the best! Music and bands We can recommend local bands, depending upon your taste in genre, or if you want to save on costs you are welcome to hire our two in-house JBL speakers to play your awesome wedding playlists - both in the grounds and within the barn. We’ll even throw in a pair of wireless microphones for those all important speeches (€300 for a day hire). Drinks We invite you to bring your own drinks to Manoir Beaulieu, and cheerfully we won’t charge corkage. Wine is so reasonable in France, with tasty roses, whites and reds starting at as little as €4 a bottle. Again, we’ll be here to help guide and give you our best recommendations for drinks. Flowers We work with local florists to create beautiful scenes around the grounds, for budgets from €300 all the way to €3,000+ whatever you would like to spend or want we know the people who can make it happen.
